The rationale for this project is to demonstrate how energy scavenging through normal use could be made possible if this is taken into account throughout the design of a ubiquitous computational artefact, and to let users explore how much energy is available in their everyday activities as a way to promote awareness of current environment issues such as energy crisis. This project will demonstrate and visualize the amount of energy that can be generated by some human everyday activities with computational artefacts. The demonstration will be interactive, i.e. to use the artefacts, users will have to provide energy through use. In details, my installations will visualize generated energy on the monitor and reuse generated energy at the same time to provide a direct and better understanding of energy scavenging for general audience.
