UL Collab

The objective of UL Collab is to show how interaction design and technology can be utilised to create a tool that helps University of Limerick to promote entrepreneurship spirit and awareness amongst all its students irrespective of their courses.

UL Collab website will have following key features;

• Home • My Network • Events • Chat • Notifications

In homepage users will see a feed, this feed will involve posts related to entrepreneurship case studies, trending articles related to latest technologies and their scope. In addition to this, this page will provide certain action items such as posting their thoughts/queries, creating groups and writing articles etc. All users will have the option to post their thoughts/requirements on homepage. In oder to make it more engaging, there are like, comment and share features for all sort of posts.

Users can build a network of like minded people within UL with the help of My network feature which will allow users to go through all their connections within UL. Users can see both received and sent requests here and they’ll have the ability to accept or decline any particular connection request.

Events will be another key feature that will be integrated in homepage and it’ll contain all the information regarding upcoming and passed events. Users can view the details of all the events and they’ll have the ability to register themselves and participate in the events of their choice.

With the help of chat feature, users not only can communicate with their individual connections but they can also communicate with groups which they are part of within UL.

Notification will be one of the key features that will be integrated in homepage. Notification feature will notify users about various activities such as upcoming events, likes/comments, messages from their connections, latest articles etc.
